ABOUT JODIE
I’m Jodie. Made in Australia, proud 90’s baby and all around dork. My parents made the mistake of moving into a house right across the road from horses when I was 2, and ever since then I’ve been that annoying horse crazy kid.
I’m what we like to call the black sheep of the family. While everyone else was busy being responsible adults, I was coming home to break the news to my parents that I just booked an impulse trip to Africa/was going to America to ride horses/quit my job (again) to ride across Australia. You know, the usual.
I adore the outdoors. My way to de-stress is to go hike something stupidly steep or go riding. I tried being an adult, I really did. But the corporate life wasn’t for me, and I think that the definition of torture is being stuck inside at a desk while there’s blue skies outside.

I never imagined that I would be where I am today, but life has a funny way of putting you exactly where you need to be.

This year brings with it new challenges, new rides and many, many conversations about mental health. I can't wait to get started and bring you all along for the ride.
MY MISSION
To raise awareness for depression and mental health through the promotion of the Green, Gold and Blues rides
MY VISION
To reduce the stigma associated with depression and mental health, therefore making it easier for people to speak about this topic and get help
